About this tool

Image Crop keeps only the region you need — ideal for ID ratios, social thumbnails, and product shots.

For ID or profile photos, lock the aspect ratio first and keep the face centered. Free-cropping then getting cropped again by the upload site wastes a second pass.

Tip — Decide the final aspect ratio (1:1, 4:3, 16:9) before cropping to avoid rework.

How to use

  1. 1Upload the image to crop.
  2. 2Adjust the crop area and aspect-ratio preset.
  3. 3Click Apply crop.
  4. 4Download the result image.

FAQ

Can I lock the aspect ratio?

Yes. Use presets like 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9, or turn on ratio lock before moving the crop box.

Does cropping reduce quality?

Cropping removes pixels and usually does not recompress. Saving format/quality settings may re-encode — check the preview.

I also need a specific pixel size.

Crop for composition first, then use Image Resizer for exact pixels.

Are files uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Files and text you enter are never sent to our servers.
