About this tool

Image Resizer changes the width and height of JPG and PNG images in pixels. Use it for resume photos, product thumbnails, and social upload sizes.

Lock aspect ratio to avoid stretching. Everything runs in the browser — download the result with no install.

Tip — For the web, a long edge around 1200–1600px is often enough. For ID photos, follow the site’s exact pixel size.

FAQ

Should I keep the aspect ratio?

Usually yes. Keeping the ratio prevents distortion while you set one side.

Pixels vs cm/inches?

This tool uses screen/web pixels. Print sizes in cm depend on DPI, so follow your print shop’s guidance.

Can I enlarge a small image again?

Upscaling a reduced image can look blurry. Prefer resizing from the original when possible.

Are files uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Files and text you enter are never sent to our servers.
